When I was preparing for my first baby, I remember feeling completely overwhelmed by the endless lists of "must-have" products floating around online — even after 14+ years (!!!) of caring for babies and toddlers as a nanny.
So many of the recommendations felt unnecessary or didn’t align with how I wanted to care for my baby, or myself, throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. A natural approach is always my top priority, but as a one-income family, affordability matters too. Because of that, not every item in this guide is 100% low-tox or organic. For me, personally, it's about lowering the toxic load where possible and doing the best you can for yourself and your family.
After working with mothers and babies for many years , and now as a mama of two myself, I’m constantly asked for recommendations - so I created this pregnancy and postpartum essentials guide for those of you who are on a similar path.
You won’t need everything on this list, choose what resonates and feels supportive. Let this guide be a tool to help you prepare for a beautiful pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood journey.
